About Amici della Vite

Amici della Vite is a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation and enjoyment of Italian wine and cuisine. Our mission is to educate our members about the rich history and culture of Italian wine and food. We were established in 1996 in Houston, Texas, by James B. DeGeorge, a passionate wine enthusiast who wanted to share his love of Italian wine with others. Our members have access to exclusive events, where they can learn about the different regions and varietals of Italian wine and the art of pairing wine and food.
